Yes, automated retractable spray nozzles clean all internal chambers and filter banks.

How is the bowl cleaned between products?

A CIP arrangement with spray balls covering the bowl, lid and chopper housing is available, and the cleaning cycle is recorded. Cleaning validation with swab and rinse recovery is offered as part of our validation service.

What warranty applies to this machine?

Machines are supplied with a 12-month warranty from commissioning covering manufacturing defects, with wear parts and tooling excluded. Extended cover is available under an annual maintenance contract, which also fixes response times for breakdown attendance.

What documentation is supplied at handover?

Handover includes the operation and maintenance manual, electrical and pneumatic schematics, the spare parts list with part numbers, material test certificates for contact parts, sensor calibration certificates and the completed qualification dossier.

How is the granulation endpoint determined?

The endpoint is determined by impeller power draw and torque trend, recorded against the batch. Machines can additionally be specified with inline near-infrared or focused beam reflectance measurement for products where power draw alone is not discriminating.

Is the vessel suitable for solvent-based granulation?

Flameproof configurations to Ex d IIB T4 are available for solvent processing, with nitrogen inerting, oxygen monitoring and earthing continuity monitoring included as part of the package.

About the FBG-500 Integrated Closed-Loop Fluid Bed Granulation Suite

The **FBG-500 Granulation Suite** is our largest fluid bed processing platform, engineered for continuous commercial granulation and Wurster pellet coating. Operating with 500 kg batch capacity, the system features automated through-the-wall product loading and direct vacuum discharge to sizing mills.

Wurster Bottom-Spray Micro-Pellet Coating: Precision draft tube partition allows enteric and controlled-release coating on 100 µm pellets.

Torque-Trended Endpoint Control: Impeller power draw is trended live against the qualified profile so the endpoint is determined by data rather than elapsed time.

Contained Charging and Discharge: Split-butterfly or equivalent contained transfer keeps operator exposure within the occupational limit for potent compounds.
